Jiangsu released the down jacket supervision and inspection results: the pass rate was 86.3%

Recently, the Jiangsu Quality Supervision Bureau released the results of the 2016 down apparel supervision and inspection. This time, a total of 102 batches of products produced by 102 enterprises in Jiangsu Province were sampled, and 88 batches were qualified, with a pass rate of 86.3%. At present, China's production of down and products-based enterprises has reached thousands, and its industrial distribution is basically similar to the distribution of China's garment industry, mainly concentrated in the southeast coast of Guangdong, Fujian, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and other places. There are more than 200 down garment manufacturers in Jiangsu Province, mainly distributed in Suzhou, Nanjing, Wuxi, Changzhou, Yangzhou and Nantong.

It is understood that the standard of down apparel is the national standard GB/T14272-2011 "down garment", which focuses on down garments made of textile woven fabrics; and the industry standard FZ/T73053 implemented on January 1, 2016. -2015 "Knitted Down Garment", which is aimed at down garments with knitted fabrics as the main fabric.

This supervision and spot check is mainly for the down garment manufacturing enterprises in Jiangsu Province. A total of 102 samples were sampled, involving Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou. The unqualified items involved in this spot check include the amount of cashmere/velvet, the amount of cashmere, the anti-drilling, splitting, fiber content and logo.

The amount of cashmere is the main part of the down garment, which means the content of the pile and the pile in the feather down. The feather, the piece and the broken hair (or the crushed hair) cannot be counted in the amount of cashmere. There were 9 batches of unqualified indicators of cashmere and cashmere content, accounting for 8.8%.

The amount of velvet is the total grammage of the down filled in the down jacket. The level of the amount of cashmere will affect the warmth of the down jacket. According to national standards, the amount of down filling of down garments shall not be less than 5% of the express value. In this spot check, one batch of the indicator was unqualified, accounting for 1.0% of the batch.

Anti-drilling is a phenomenon of lint that has been plaguing consumers. It is an evaluation of the leakage of down garments. The anti-drilling property of fabrics refers to the performance of preventing the down or feathers from snagging between the yarn gaps. The number of drilled piles under the specified conditions is expressed. In this spot check, one batch of the indicator was unqualified, accounting for 1.0%.

The fiber content reflects the texture of the product and is one of the important factors determining the price of the product. In this spot check, there were 4 batches of unqualified indicators, accounting for 3.9% of the spot checks, mainly because the indicators did not match.

The splitting is to reflect the sewing quality of the garment and the firmness of the fabric. It is mainly to determine whether the down jacket has slippage at the seam and the seam of the sleeve, or whether the degree of cracking of the seam exceeds the requirement of 0.4 cm specified by the product standard under the specified load. Unsatisfactory clothing with split seams not only reduces the wearing performance of the garment, but is also prone to breakage during the wearing process, and the down is easy to drill. In this spot check, there was one batch of unsuccessful splitting of the seam, accounting for 1.0%.

The instructions for use (identification) are important information given by the producer of the product to guide the consumer in the correct purchase and use. This spot check identified 5 batches that failed, accounting for 4.9%.

To this end, Jiangsu Quality Supervision Bureau issued a consumer reminder:

The amount of cashmere and the amount of cashmere. When consumers purchase products, they should pay attention to the amount of cashmere indicated on the label. The amount of cashmere is generally more than 70%. In addition, down can be generally divided into goose down and duck down according to the source, relatively speaking, goose down is better than duck down.

Anti-drilling. The liner or lining of the down jacket should have anti-drilling properties. When purchasing, pay attention to whether the fabric and lining of the down jacket and the seams have obvious feathers.

Fluffy. Squeeze the fluffy down jacket, then loosen it, and then rebound quickly to restore the original shape, indicating that the downness of the down is good, and the product has better warmth. If the amount of cashmere is low, or if there is a certain amount of flakes or pulverized hair, the resilience will be poor, and it will die after being beaten, like cotton wool.

smell it. Since the smell is not easy to clean, the quality of the down jacket should not smell, if there is obvious smell, it means that the down has not undergone strict processing and washing and disinfection, the quality is not good.

Whether it fits. Improper size selection, over-feathering of the down jacket will increase the flow of air between the clothing and the human body, and the body temperature will be dissipated quickly. If the weight is too thin, the gap in the down jacket will be reduced, and the static air will be reduced, thereby reducing the warmth.

Wash maintenance. The stained area should be rubbed with a collar first, then the whole down jacket is soaked in water, then the surface of the garment is washed with neutral soap, and the hand-washed down is rinsed with water and dried (wine bag); Dry down the down jacket in ample sunlight (outside the lining) or in a ventilated place to dry. After drying out, you can use the hand or wooden stick to evenly beat the various parts of the down jacket, so that the down jacket can basically return to the original fluffy state. Avoid washing too much frequency, although the down jacket can be washed, but because of the poor strength of the down, frequent washing will make the down smash, agglomerate, and reduce warmth.
